is microblading right for me?
Microblading is right for nearly anyone who wants to enhance their eyebrow. Whether you are looking for a minimal eyebrow enhancement or a full eyebrow restoration, microblading is an incredible service to get hyper-realistic eyebrows long-term. Like any beauty service, I hold true to my very personal philosophy that no one should do anything to their image, but everyone can. That means we are all beautiful the way we are, but if you want to make your brows pop, bring back some life to your eyes, or simply treat yourself to long-term perfect brows, you would absolutely love microblading.
Every eyebrow is different than the next. I have very long eyebrow hair that is thin and light in color. Some people have no eyebrow hair at all. Some have very thick eyebrows that are light in color, or not dense in terms of fullness. No matter what eyebrow you have naturally, microblading can enhance your brow so you wake up with a defined and framed eye. It feels so good to have eyebrows that look naturally perfect, and not because of makeup. As a long time makeup artist, I have found that there is no makeup on earth that looks as natural as microblading. Microblading becomes part of you because it is in your skin!
Microblading is a powerful tool in creating facial symmetry.
Here is an example of just how natural microblading can be. For me, the goal is for the microblading to look as realistic as possible.
Here are a few examples of eyebrows and people that would be a great fit for microblading:
Those with full brows that want to define them
Those looking to enhance their natural eyebrow
Those looking to shape and define their eyebrow semi-permanently
Those who are active and do not wear makeup on a daily basis
Those who cannot see their eyebrows clearly to define themselves with makeup
Those who have little to no hair or experience the following:
Natural thinning or loss of hair
Alopecia
Chemotherapy
Pregnancy
Naturally sparse eyebrows
Who is microblading not right for?
Here is a list of contradictions for people who are considered not a candidate for a cosmetic tattoo like microblading: (H3)
Autoimmune suppressants and(or) have an autoimmune disease
Allergic to artificial color
Allergic to Lidocaine, Tetracaine or Epinephrine
Psoriasis, rash or burn on the procedure area
Hemophilia
Diabetes
Currently undergoing Chemotherapy
When should I wait on microblading?
You must simply postpone your microblading appointment if:
Had botox or fillers in the last 30 days; book 30 days after
Taking blood thinners or fish oil; stop taking 48 hour before
Taking antibiotics; book 2 weeks after you are finished
Currently have a sunburn, rash or psoriasis in the area we will be working on; book 1 week after your skin is clear and calm
Currently pregnant or breastfeeding; book after you are no longer pregnant or breastfeeding
Have had an epileptic seizure within 30 days
Microblading is known to change the lives of those who “take the plunge.” Eyebrows frame the face and bring your features to life. The technique looks so incredibly natural it’s hard to believe the results. Microblading could benefit every eyebrow out there . As long as you are a candidate healthwise, in my professional opinion, for anyone who wants perfect eyebrows, microblading is right for you!
